Terms of Service
Effective date: November 11, 2025
Acceptance of Terms
By creating an account or using the Team Chat Code platform, you agree to these Terms of Service (the “Terms”). If you are acting on behalf of an organization, you confirm that you have authority to accept these Terms on its behalf. If you do not agree, you may not use the service.
Accounts & Access
- Accounts are personal. Do not share credentials outside your team.
- Each workspace (team) is responsible for managing its members and roles.
- You must promptly notify us of unauthorized access or security incidents.
Usage Guidelines
You agree not to:
- Upload or generate content that is illegal, infringing, or violates confidentiality obligations.
- Attempt to probe, scan, or breach the platform’s security or RLS protections.
- Misrepresent your identity or interfere with other customers’ bots or data.
Plans, Billing & Renewals
- Free and Pro subscriptions renew automatically at the end of each billing cycle unless cancelled.
- Upgrades take effect immediately; downgrades apply on the next billing cycle.
- All fees are non-refundable unless required by law.
Content & Ownership
- You retain all rights to the documents and prompts you upload to the platform.
- We process the content solely to provide the service (chunking, embedding, moderation, chat responses).
- We may collect anonymized metrics about usage for improving the product.
Service Availability & Modifications
We strive for continuous availability but may occasionally need to take the service offline for maintenance or emergency updates. We may update features, pricing, or policies, with notice provided through the app, email, or this page.
Termination
- You may cancel your team at any time from the settings page; data is deleted within 30 days.
- We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms or our Acceptable Use Policy.
Disclaimer & Limitation of Liability
The service is provided “as is” without warranties of any kind. We are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the platform. Our aggregate liability under these Terms is limited to the fees you paid us in the preceding twelve months.
Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the United States and the State of California, without regard to conflict-of-law principles.
